LAT ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein linker for activation of T cells, which is encoded by the LAT gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be required for TCR (T-cell antigen receptor)- and pre-TCR-mediated signaling, both in mature T-cells and during their development. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 262 residues and a mass of 27.9 kDa. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is reported to be expressed in thymus, T-cells, NK cells, mast cells and, at lower levels, in spleen. As many as 5 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally ubiquitinated, palmitoylated and phosphorylated. The LAT gene has been associated with the disease, Immunodeficiency. Other alias names for this target include LAT1, pp36, linker for activation of T-cells family member 1, 36 kDa phospho-tyrosine adapter protein, and IMD52.
Some LAT ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 31.25 pg/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
