MANBA ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein mannosidase beta, which is encoded by the MANBA gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a reported exoglycosidase that cleaves the single beta-linked mannose residue from the non-reducing end of all N-linked glycoprotein oligosaccharides. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 879 residues, a mass of 100.9 kDa, and is a member of the Glycosyl hydrolase 2 protein family. It is known to be localized in the lysosomes and is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated.
