DMP1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein dentin matrix acidic phosphoprotein 1, which is encoded by the DMP1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is suspected to have a dual function during osteoblast differentiation. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 513 residues and a mass of 55.8 kDa. It is known to be localized in the nucleus, extracellular matrix, and cytoplasm and is reported to be expressed in tooth particularly in odontoblast, ameloblast and cementoblast. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally phosphorylated and glycosylated. The DMP1 gene has been associated with the disease, Hypophosphatemic rickets. Other alias names for this target include ARHR, dentin matrix protein 1, and ARHP.
The detection range for different DMP1 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 7.8 pg/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
