The Nesfatin-1 ELISA kits listed below are analytical tools for measuring concentrations of Nesfatin-1 in various samples. Nesfatin-1 is an alternative name for the human NUCB2 gene, which encodes the protein, nucleobindin 2. The target protein is reported to be a calcium-binding protein, which may have a role in calcium homeostasis (By similarity). Structurally, the NUCB2 protein is 420 amino acid residues in length and 50.2 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 2 protein isoforms have been identified. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane, nucleus, ER, golgi, cytoplasm, and is secreted. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be highly expressed in the spleen, testis and normal stomach. Other names for this target antigen include HEL-S-109, NEFA, and DNA-binding protein NEFA.
There are Nesfatin-1 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.781 pg/mL and as high as 1000 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
