UPK2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein uroplakin 2, which is encoded by the UPK2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known component of the asymmetric unit membrane (AUM); a highly specialized biomembrane elaborated by terminally differentiated urothelial cells. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 184 residues, a mass of 19.4 kDa, and is a member of the Uroplakin-2 protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is notably expressed in ureter. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include UPII, uroplakin II, and UP2.
There are UPK2 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.15 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
