STC1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein stanniocalcin 1, which is encoded by the STC1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in bone development and the cellular response to hypoxia. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 247 residues, a mass of 27.6 kDa, and is a member of the Stanniocalcin protein family. It is known to be secreted and is reported to be expressed in most tissues, with the highest levels in ovary, prostate, heart, kidney and thyroid. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include STC.
There are STC1 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.5 ng/L and as high as 200 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
