The SCF ELISA kits listed below utilize specific antibodies for the plate-based assay of SCF in various samples. SCF is another term for the KITLG gene, which encodes the protein, KIT ligand in humans. It has been reported that SCF plays a role in cell adhesion and the apoptotic pathway, among other functions. Structurally, the KITLG protein is 273 amino acid residues in length and 30.9 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 3 protein isoforms have been identified. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane, cytoplasm, and is secreted. This protein is known to be O-glycosylated, N-glycosylated and cleaved. Other names for this target antigen include DCUA, DFNA69, and FPH2.
Some SCF ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 2 pg/mL and as high as 40 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
