PRICKLE3 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein prickle planar cell polarity protein 3, which is encoded by the PRICKLE3 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be involved in planar cell polarity (PCP) pathway that is essential for the polarization of epithelial cells during morphogenetic processes, including gastrulation and neurulation (By similarity). The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 615 residues, a mass of 68.6 kDa, and is a member of the Prickle / espinas / testin protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane, mitochondria, and cytoplasm and is widely expressed across many tissue types. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The PRICKLE3 gene has been associated with the disease, Leber hereditary optic neuropathy. Other alias names for this target include LOAM, LOAS, Pk3, LIM domain only protein 6, LMO-6, prickle homolog 3, prickle-like protein 3, and LMO6.
The detection range for different PRICKLE3 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
