These Sialidase 2 ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of Sialidase 2 in biological samples. Sialidase 2 is an alias of the human NEU2 gene, which encodes the protein, neuraminidase 2. Notably, Sialidase 2 is known to play a role in the metabolism of lipids, among other functions. The NEU2 protein is described to be 380 amino acid residues in length and 42.3 kilodaltons in mass. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be expressed in skeletal muscle, fetal liver and embryonic carcinoma cell line NT2-D1. Other names for this target antigen include SIAL2 and N-acetyl-alpha-neuraminidase 2.
There are Sialidase 2 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.05 ng/mL and as high as 30 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
