PPFIA4 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein PTPRF interacting protein alpha 4, which is encoded by the PPFIA4 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is believed to regulate the disassembly of focal adhesions. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 1185 residues, a mass of 134.4 kDa, and is a member of the Liprin protein family. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasm and is found to be preferentially expressed in the heart, brain, and skeletal muscle. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include protein tyrosine phosphatase, receptor type, f polypeptide (PTPRF), interacting protein (liprin), alpha 4, and liprin-alpha-4.
Some PPFIA4 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
