STARD13 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein StAR related lipid transfer domain containing 13, which is encoded by the STARD13 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a GTPase-activating protein for RhoA, and perhaps for Cdc42. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 1113 residues and a mass of 125 kDa. It is known to be localized in the membrane, mitochondria, and cytoplasm and is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. As many as 5 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include Rho GTPase activating protein on chromosome 13q12, StAR-related lipid transfer (START) domain containing 13, deleted in liver cancer 2 protein, and stAR-related lipid transfer protein 13.
