PLCD4 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein phospholipase C delta 4, which is encoded by the PLCD4 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in intracellular signal transduction and the metabolism of lipids. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 762 residues and a mass of 87.6 kDa. It is known to be localized in the membrane, nucleus, ER, and cytoplasm and is reported to be highly expressed in skeletal muscle and kidney tissues, and at moderate level in intestinal tissue. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include PLC delta4, phosphoinositide phospholipase C-delta-4, and 1-phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate phosphodiesterase delta-4.
The detection range for different PLCD4 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
