PARP2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase 2, which is encoded by the PARP2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a reported Poly-ADP-ribosyltransferase that mediates poly-ADP-ribosylation of proteins and plays a key role in DNA repair. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 583 residues, a mass of 66.2 kDa, and is a member of the ARTD/PARP protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and is reported to be widely expressed, mainly in actively dividing tissues. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally acetylated and cleaved. Other alias names for this target include ADPRTL2, ADPRTL3, ARTD2, pADPRT-2, poly [ADP-ribose] polymerase 2, and ADPRT2.
Some PARP2 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 20 ng/L and as high as 40 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
