The following NK3 Homeobox 1 ELISA kits are useful research tools for the measurement of NK3 homeobox 1 in biological samples. In humans this protein is encoded by the NKX3-1 gene. This protein is reported to be a transcription factor, which binds preferentially the consensus sequence 5'-TAAGT[AG]-3' and can behave as a transcriptional repressor. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 234 residues, a mass of 26.4 kDa, and is a member of the NK-3 homeobox protein family. Its subcellular location is known to be in the nucleus. In addition, it is reported to be highly expressed in the prostate and, at a lower level, in the testis. As many as 5 protein isoforms have been reported. In certain instances, it is also post-translationally ubiquitinated. This protein may also be known as NKX3, NKX3.1, NKX3A, homeobox protein Nkx-3.1, NK homeobox, family 3, A, and BAPX2.
Some NK3 Homeobox 1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.15 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Use the search filters to narrow your search and click on the ELISA kits below for more detailed information, such as reactivity and assay sensitivity.
