NDUFA13 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein NADH:ubiquinone oxidoreductase subunit A13, which is encoded by the NDUFA13 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be an accessory subunit the mitochondrial membrane respiratory chain NADH dehydrogenase (Complex I), that is believed not to be involved in catalysis. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 144 residues, a mass of 16.7 kDa, and is a member of the Complex I NDUFA13 subunit protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and mitochondria and is found to be widely expressed, with highest expression in heart, skeletal muscle, liver, kidney and placenta. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The NDUFA13 gene has been associated with the disease, Hurthle cell thyroid carcinoma. Other alias names for this target include CDA016, CGI-39, GRIM-19, GRIM19, MC1DN28, and B16.6.
Some NDUFA13 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
