MTNR1A ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein melatonin receptor 1A, which is encoded by the MTNR1A gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a high affinity receptor for melatonin. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 350 residues, a mass of 39.4 kDa, and is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is reported to be expressed in hypophyseal pars tuberalis and hypothalamic suprachiasmatic nuclei (SCN). The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include MEL-1A-R and MT1.
Some MTNR1A ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 3 ng/L and as high as 40 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
