PAK2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein p21 (RAC1) activated kinase 2, which is encoded by the PAK2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a serine/threonine protein kinase that plays a role in a variety of different signaling pathways including cytoskeleton regulation, cell motility, cell cycle progression, apoptosis or proliferation. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 524 residues, a mass of 58 kDa, and is a member of the STE Ser/Thr protein kinase protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally ubiquitinated, cleaved, myristoylated and phosphorylated. The PAK2 gene has been associated with the disease, Knobloch syndrome. Other alias names for this target include PAK65, PAKgamma, serine/threonine-protein kinase PAK 2, S6/H4 kinase, gamma-PAK, and KNO2.
Some PAK2 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
