GALNS ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein galactosamine (N-acetyl)-6-sulfatase, which is encoded by the GALNS gene in humans. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 522 residues, a mass of 58 kDa, and is a member of the Sulfatase protein family. It is known to be localized in the lysosomes. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. The GALNS gene has been associated with the disease, Mucopolysaccharidosis. Other alias names for this target include GAS, MPS4A, N-acetylgalactosamine-6-sulfatase, N-acetylgalactosamine-6-sulfate sulfatase, and GALNAC6S.
Some GALNS ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 31.2 pg/mL and as high as 100 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
