DCPS ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein decapping enzyme, scavenger, which is encoded by the DCPS gene in humans. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 337 residues, a mass of 38.6 kDa, and is a member of the HIT protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is notably expressed in liver, brain, kidney, testis and prostate. The DCPS gene has been associated with the disease, Al-Raqad syndrome. Other alias names for this target include DCS1, HINT-5, HINT5, HSL1, HSPC015, and ARS.
