BLCAP ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein BLCAP apoptosis inducing factor, which is encoded by the BLCAP gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is believed to regulate cell proliferation and coordinate apoptosis and cell cycle progression via a novel mechanism independent of both p53/TP53 and NF-kappa-B. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 87 residues, a mass of 9.9 kDa, and is a member of the BLCAP protein family. It is known to be localized in the membrane and is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. Other alias names for this target include bladder cancer-associated protein, bladder cancer associated protein, bladder cancer related protein (10kD), and BC10.
There are BLCAP ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
