The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 653 residues, a mass of 71.2 kDa, and is a member of the CBFA2T protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and is reported to be widely expressed with higher expression in heart, pancreas, skeletal muscle, spleen, thymus and peripheral blood leukocytes. As many as 4 protein isoforms have been reported.
