These AKT1 Substrate 1 (proline-rich) ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring specific protein levels in biological samples. AKT1 Substrate 1 (proline-rich) is an alias of the human AKT1S1 gene, which encodes the protein, AKT1 substrate 1. Notably, AKT1 Substrate 1 (proline-rich) is known to play a role in the regulation of apoptosis, among other functions. The AKT1S1 protein is 256 amino acid residues in length and 27.4 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 3 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be widely expressed with highest levels of expression in liver and heart. This protein is known to be phosphorylated. Other names for this target antigen include proline-rich AKT1 substrate 1, 40 kDa proline-rich AKT substrate, and AKT1 substrate 1 (proline rich).
Some AKT1 Substrate 1 (proline-rich) ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.312 ng/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
