GPR143 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein G protein-coupled receptor 143, which is encoded by the GPR143 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known receptor for tyrosine, L-DOPA and dopamine. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 404 residues, a mass of 43.9 kDa, and is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor OA protein family. It is known to be localized in the lysosomes and cell membrane and is notably expressed at high levels in the retina, including the retinal pigment epithelium (RPE), and in melanocytes. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated and phosphorylated. The GPR143 gene has been associated with the disease, Albinism ocular. Other alias names for this target include OA1, ocular albinism 1, ocular albinism type 1 protein, and NYS6.
There are gpr143 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
