CD2AP ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein CD2 associated protein, which is encoded by the CD2AP gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is suggested to act as an adapter protein between membrane proteins and the actin cytoskeleton. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 639 residues and a mass of 71.5 kDa. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasm and is found to be widely expressed in fetal and adult tissues. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally phosphorylated. The CD2AP gene has been associated with the disease, Focal segmental glomerulosclerosis. Other alias names for this target include Cas ligand with multiple Src homology (SH) 3 domains, Cas ligand with multiple Src homology 3 (SH3) domains, adapter protein CMS, cas ligand with multiple SH3 domains, and CMS.
Some CD2AP ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 10 ng/L and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
