AKIRIN2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein akirin 2, which is encoded by the AKIRIN2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a molecular adapter that acts as a bridge between a variety of multiprotein complexes, and which is involved in embryonic development, immunity, myogenesis and brain development. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 203 residues, a mass of 22.5 kDa, and is a member of the Akirin protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is reported to be widely expressed with the highest expression in peripheral blood leukocytes. Other alias names for this target include FBI1, dJ486L4.2, fourteen-three-three beta interactant 1, and C6orf166.
Some AKIRIN2 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
