TCHP ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein trichoplein keratin filament binding, which is encoded by the TCHP gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a tumor suppressor, which has the ability to inhibit cell growth and be pro-apoptotic during cell stress. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 498 residues, a mass of 61.1 kDa, and is a member of the TCHP protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane, mitochondria, and cytoplasm and is notably expressed at high levels in normal urothelial and breast epithelial cells. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally ubiquitinated. Other alias names for this target include mitochondrial protein with oncostatic activity, mitostatin, tumor suppressor protein, and trichoplein keratin filament-binding protein.
Some TCHP ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 15 ng/L and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
