OLFM1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein olfactomedin 1, which is encoded by the OLFM1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is said to contribute to the regulation of axonal growth in the embryonic and adult central nervous system by inhibiting interactions between RTN4R and LINGO1. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 485 residues and a mass of 55.3 kDa. It is known to be localized in the ER and is secreted. As many as 5 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include NOE1, NOELIN1, OlfA, noelin, neuroblastoma protein, and AMY.
Some OLFM1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 15 ng/L and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
