TCF4 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein transcription factor 4, which is encoded by the TCF4 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a transcription factor that binds to the immunoglobulin enhancer Mu-E5/KE5-motif. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 667 residues and a mass of 71.3 kDa. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and is reported to be expressed in adult heart, brain, placenta, skeletal muscle and to a lesser extent in the lung. As many as 16 protein isoforms have been reported. The TCF4 gene has been associated with the disease, Pitt-Hopkins syndrome. Other alias names for this target include E2-2, FCD2, FECD3, ITF-2, ITF2, PTHS, SEF-2, and CDG2T.
Some TCF4 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 78 pg/mL and as high as 40 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
