SAAL1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein serum amyloid A like 1, which is encoded by the SAAL1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to play a role in in promoting the proliferation of synovial fibroblasts in response to pro-inflammatory stimuli. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 474 residues, a mass of 53.6 kDa, and is a member of the SAAL1 protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and is reported to be highly expressed in testis and ovary, and to a lesser extent in the lung, spleen and the heart. Other alias names for this target include synoviocyte proliferation-associated in collagen-induced arthritis 1, synoviocyte proliferation-associated in collagen-induced arthritis protein 1, and protein SAAL1.
There are SAAL1 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 1.56 pg/mL and as high as 50 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
