INPPL1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein inositol polyphosphate phosphatase like 1, which is encoded by the INPPL1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in cell adhesion and endocytosis. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 1258 residues, a mass of 138.6 kDa, and is a member of the Inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate 5-phosphatase protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane, nucleus, and cytoplasm and is reported to be widely expressed, most prominently in skeletal muscle, heart and brain. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally phosphorylated. The INPPL1 gene has been associated with the disease, Type 2 diabetes mellitus. Other alias names for this target include SHIP2, phosphatidylinositol 3,4,5-trisphosphate 5-phosphatase 2, 51C protein, SH2 domain-containing inositol-5'-phosphatase 2, SHIP-2, and OPSMD.
Some INPPL1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
