BLID ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein BH3-like motif containing, cell death inducer, which is encoded by the BLID gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to function as a proapoptotic molecule through the caspase-dependent mitochondrial pathway of cell death. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 108 residues and a mass of 12 kDa. It is known to be localized in the mitochondria and cytoplasm and is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. Other alias names for this target include breast cancer cell 2 and breast cancer cell protein 2.
Some BLID ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
