These PAD4 ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of PAD4 in biological samples. PAD4 is an alias of the human PADI4 gene, which encodes the protein, peptidyl arginine deiminase 4. Notably, PAD4 is known to play a role in chromatin organization and chromatin remodeling, among other functions. The PADI4 protein is described to be 663 amino acid residues in length and 74.1 kilodaltons in mass. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be expressed in eosinophils and neutrophils, not expressed in peripheral monocytes or lymphocytes. Other names for this target antigen include PAD and PADI5.
Some PAD4 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 4.7 pg/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
