PRTN3 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein proteinase 3, which is encoded by the PRTN3 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a serine protease that degrades elastin, fibronectin, laminin, vitronectin, and collagen types I, III, and IV (in vitro). The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 256 residues, a mass of 27.8 kDa, and is a member of the Peptidase S1 protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane, cytoplasm, and is secreted and is reported to be expressed in polymorphonuclear leukocytes. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include AGP7, C-ANCA, CANCA, MBN, MBT, NP-4, NP4, and ACPA.
The detection range for different PRTN3 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 12.5 pg/mL and as high as 200 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
