The Syntenin-1 ELISA kits listed below are analytical tools for measuring concentrations of Syntenin-1 in various samples. Syntenin-1 is an alternative name for the human SDCBP gene, which encodes the protein, syndecan binding protein. It has been mentioned that Syntenin-1 plays a role in cytoskeleton organization and chemical synaptic transmission, among other functions. Structurally, the SDCBP protein is 298 amino acid residues in length and 32.4 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 3 protein isoforms have been identified. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be expressed in lung cancers, including adenocarcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and small-cell carcinoma. This protein is known to be phosphorylated. Other names for this target antigen include MDA-9, MDA9, and ST1.
There are Syntenin-1 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 78 pg/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
