SIGLEC5 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein sialic acid binding Ig like lectin 5, which is encoded by the SIGLEC5 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is believed to be an adhesion molecule that mediates sialic-acid dependent binding to cells. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 551 residues, a mass of 60.7 kDa, and is a member of the SIGLEC (sialic acid binding Ig-like lectin) protein family. It is known to be localized in the membrane and is noted to be expressed by monocytic/myeloid lineage cells. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include CD33L2, OB-BP2, OBBP2, CD33 antigen-like 2, OB-binding protein 2, and CD170.
Some SIGLEC5 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 6.86 pg/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
