CYBB ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein cytochrome b-245 beta chain, which is encoded by the CYBB gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a critical component of the membrane-bound oxidase of phagocytes that generates superoxide. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 570 residues and a mass of 65.3 kDa. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is notably expressed in neutrophils. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated, ubiquitinated and phosphorylated. The CYBB gene has been associated with the disease, Granulomatous disease. Other alias names for this target include CGD, CGDX, GP91-1, GP91-PHOX, GP91PHOX, IMD34, NOX2, and AMCBX2.
Some CYBB ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 10 ng/L and as high as 50 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
