DMC1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein DNA meiotic recombinase 1, which is encoded by the DMC1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to participate in meiotic recombination, specifically in homologous strand assimilation, which is required for the resolution of meiotic double-strand breaks. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 340 residues, a mass of 37.7 kDa, and is a member of the RecA protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include LIM15, dJ199H16.1, meiotic recombination protein DMC1/LIM15 homolog, DMC1 dosage suppressor of mck1 homolog, meiosis-specific homologous recombination, and DMC1H.
Some DMC1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.313 ng/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
