PLA2R1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein phospholipase A2 receptor 1, which is encoded by the PLA2R1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known receptor for secretory phospholipase A2 (sPLA2). The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 1463 residues and a mass of 168.6 kDa. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is secreted and is notably expressed in podocytes. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally cleaved and glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include PLA2-R, PLA2G1R, PLA2IR, PLA2R, secretory phospholipase A2 receptor, and CLEC13C.
Some PLA2R1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 31.25 pg/mL and as high as 50 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
