PTPRE ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type E, which is encoded by the PTPRE gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in protein dephosphorylation. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 700 residues, a mass of 80.6 kDa, and is a member of the Protein-tyrosine phosphatase protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and cytoplasm and is reported to be expressed in giant cell tumor (osteoclastoma rich in multinucleated osteoclastic cells). The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated, cleaved and phosphorylated. Other alias names for this target include PTPE, R-PTP-EPSILON, receptor-type tyrosine-protein phosphatase epsilon, protein tyrosine phosphatase, receptor type, epsilon polypeptide, and HPTPE.
There are PTPRE ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
