ERCC1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein ERCC excision repair 1, endonuclease non-catalytic subunit, which is encoded by the ERCC1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a non-catalytic component of a structure-specific DNA repair endonuclease responsible for the 5'-incision during DNA repair. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 297 residues, a mass of 32.6 kDa, and is a member of the ERCC1/RAD10/SWI10 protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm. As many as 4 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally ubiquitinated. The ERCC1 gene has been associated with the disease, Cerebro-oculo-facio-skeletal syndrome. Other alias names for this target include RAD10, UV20, DNA excision repair protein ERCC-1, excision repair cross-complementation group 1, and COFS4.
The detection range for different ERCC1 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 39 pg/mL and as high as 50 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
