AK4 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein adenylate kinase 4, which is encoded by the AK4 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in maintaining the homeostasis of cellular nucleotides by catalyzing the interconversion of nucleoside phosphates. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 223 residues, a mass of 25.3 kDa, and is a member of the Adenylate kinase protein family. It is known to be localized in the mitochondria and is reported to be highly expressed in kidney, moderately expressed in heart and liver and weakly expressed in the brain. Other alias names for this target include AK3L1, AK3L2, adenylate kinase 4, mitochondrial, ATP-AMP transphosphorylase, GTP:AMP phosphotransferase AK4, mitochondrial, and AK3.
Some AK4 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
