These TK ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of TK in biological samples. TK is an alias of the human TKT gene, which encodes the protein, transketolase. The protein is known to catalyze the transfer of a two-carbon ketol group from a ketose donor to an aldose acceptor, via a covalent intermediate with the cofactor thiamine pyrophosphate. The TKT protein is 623 amino acid residues in length and 67.9 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 2 protein isoforms have been identified. Other names for this target antigen include HEL-S-48, HEL107, and SDDHD. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
