KNL1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein kinetochore scaffold 1, which is encoded by the KNL1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in cell division. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 2342 residues and a mass of 265.4 kDa. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and is reported to be highly expressed in testis, where it is localized in germ cells, in particular in spermatocytes and in the pre-acrosome of round spermatids. As many as 4 protein isoforms have been reported. The KNL1 gene has been associated with the disease, Microcephaly. Other alias names for this target include blinkin, bub-linking kinetochore protein, cancer susceptibility candidate 5, cancer susceptibility candidate gene 5 protein, cancer/testis antigen 29, and ALL1-fused gene from chromosome 15q14 protein.
Some KNL1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
