CLEC6A ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein C-type lectin domain containing 6A, which is encoded by the CLEC6A gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a calcium-dependent lectin that acts as a pattern recognition receptor (PRR) of the innate immune system: specifically recognizes and binds alpha-mannans on Calbicans hypheas. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 209 residues and a mass of 24 kDa. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is reported to be expressed in the lung, spleen, lymph node, leukocytes, bone marrow, tonsils and dendritic cells. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include C-type (calcium dependent, carbohydrate-recognition domain) lectin, superfamily member 10, C-type lectin superfamily member 10, DC-associated C-type lectin 2, and C-type lectin domain family 6 member A.
There are CLEC6A ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 62.5 pg/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
