UHMK1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein U2AF homology motif kinase 1, which is encoded by the UHMK1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in neuronal development and peptidyl-serine phosphorylation. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 419 residues, a mass of 46.5 kDa, and is a member of the Ser/Thr protein kinase protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and is found to be widely expressed, with highest levels in skeletal muscle, kidney, placenta and peripheral blood leukocytes. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include KIS protein kinase, PAM COOH-terminal interactor protein 2, U2AF homology motif (UHM) kinase 1, kinase interacting with leukemia-associated gene (stathmin), and serine/threonine-protein kinase Kist.
The detection range for different UHMK1 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
