SHOC2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein SHOC2 leucine rich repeat scaffold protein, which is encoded by the SHOC2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a regulatory subunit of protein phosphatase 1 (PP1c) that acts as a M-Ras/MRAS effector and participates in MAPK pathway activation. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 582 residues, a mass of 64.9 kDa, and is a member of the SHOC2 protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The SHOC2 gene has been associated with the disease, Noonan syndrome-like disorder with loose anagen hair. Other alias names for this target include SIAA0862, SOC2, SUR8, leucine-rich repeat protein SHOC-2, soc-2 suppressor of clear homolog, and NSLH1.
Some Shoc2 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 78 pg/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
