CLEC5A ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein C-type lectin domain containing 5A, which is encoded by the CLEC5A gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to function as a positive regulator of osteoclastogenesis (By similarity). The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 188 residues and a mass of 21.5 kDa. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is reported to be highly expressed in bone marrow with lower levels in synovium, lung and bronchus. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally N-glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include MDL-1, MDL1, C-type lectin domain family 5 member A, C-type (calcium dependent, carbohydrate-recognition domain) lectin, superfamily member 5, and CLECSF5.
The detection range for different CLEC5A ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 10 ng/L and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
