NR2E1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein nuclear receptor subfamily 2 group E member 1, which is encoded by the NR2E1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be an orphan receptor that binds DNA as a monomer to hormone response elements (HRE) containing an extended core motif half-site sequence 5'-AAGGTCA-3' in which the 5' flanking nucleotides participate in determining receptor specificity (By similarity). The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 385 residues, a mass of 42.6 kDa, and is a member of the Nuclear hormone receptor protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and is reported to have brain specific expression. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include TLX, XTLL, nuclear receptor TLX, protein tailless homolog, tailes-related receptor, tailless, and TLL.
Some NR2E1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
