APOBEC1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein apolipoprotein B mRNA editing enzyme catalytic subunit 1, which is encoded by the APOBEC1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in cellular localization and the metabolism of lipids. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 236 residues, a mass of 28.2 kDa, and is a member of the Cytidine and deoxycytidylate deaminase protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is found to be preferentially expressed in the small intestine. Other alias names for this target include BEDP, CDAR1, HEPR, C->U-editing enzyme APOBEC-1, apolipoprotein B mRNA editing enzyme complex-1, and APO1.
The detection range for different APOBEC1 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
