NNT ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein nicotinamide nucleotide transhydrogenase, which is encoded by the NNT gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in metabolic processes. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 1086 residues, a mass of 113.9 kDa, and is a member of the AlaDH/PNT protein family; PNT beta subunit protein family. It is known to be localized in the mitochondria and is reported to be widely expressed with expression most readily detectable in adrenal, heart, kidney, thyroid and adipose tissues. The NNT gene has been associated with the disease, Glucocorticoid deficiency 4 with or without mineralocorticoid deficiency. Other alias names for this target include NAD(P) transhydrogenase, mitochondrial, pyridine nucleotide transhydrogenase, and GCCD4.
The detection range for different NNT ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
